Senior Planner/Designer

Mike Taylor enjoys more than two decades of professional experience in real estate development as an expert land planner and physical designer. Mr. Taylor has filled key roles in the successful planning of notable projects in California, Utah, France, and China. He has been a contributing land planner and designer for a variety of innovative and state-of-the-art ventures that include new towns, entertainment-lifestyle resorts and residential communities, a number of which earned national recognition and awards.

Among his strengths, Mr. Taylor effectively communicates and translates vision into realistic design strategies and feasible ­plans.  He also demonstrates strong technical-planning capabilities that provide the foundation for creating value in sustainable and implementable project designs.  His strong graphic ability supports and assists in the production of attractive and descriptive planning diagrams and documents. Combined, these skills enhance the planning design process and have led to creative solutions, successful entitlements, and buildable project plans.

Mr. Taylor’s experience in project management and design oversight involves interface with planners, architects, engineers, environment specialists, and clients to determine project needs and requirements, collaborate, advance the design process, and develop feasible solutions. Further, his attention to detail, respect for deadlines, organization, time management skills, and ability to think ahead contribute to completing projects on budget and on time.

Mr. Taylor is a graduate California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning. He is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council Orange County Chapter and of the National and California Associations of Realtors®. He holds a California real estate license.
